We Help Students
Find their Purpose

The Oxford Scholastica Academy (OSA) was founded in 2013 by two former University of Oxford students (who are now married), Jamie and Sophie.

Together, and with the help of countless others, they have built an education company that inspires young people to make positive change for themselves and the world.

Our Worldview

What a time to be alive.

Never before have there been so many possibilities in a young person’s life. These greater possibilities have come about because of the increased pace of change in the world. Revolutions used to occur every epoch, but now each year is revolutionary.

Such change has also brought challenges for the young people we support: the crucial transition from childhood to adulthood has never been so complex.

Oxford Scholastica helps students make the most of the positive changes in the world, rather than feeling constrained by them. We believe:

  1. Active thinking is more valuable than passive thinking.
  2. Collaboration for the good of the community is more valuable than independent progress.
  3. Long-term thinking is more valuable than short-term thinking.

Oxford Scholastica inspires and empowers young people to think for themselves and equips them with the skills to make positive change.

By helping them to open their minds, find community, be inspired, and learn about what really interests them academically and matters to them personally, our programmes leave students more confident and more likely to achieve their goals.

On average, students who attend the Oxford Scholastica Academy increase their active thinking, collaborative skills and long-term thinking by up to 30%.
