independence, meet like-minded students and make lasting friendships.

  • Live in an Oxford College setting and experience life as a university student.
  • Immerse yourself in history: St Anne’s College was built in 1879 and our other buildings are in Oxford’s ancient Castle Quarter, which dates back to 1073.
  • The centrally-located accommodation provides easy access to Oxford’s cafes, shops and culture.
  • All our accommodation buildings have welcoming common rooms and social spaces where you can spend time with your new friends.
Pastoral Care

A Secure and Supportive Environment

Student safety is our top priority. Each student is supported by a dedicated Head of House and a team of Activities Coordinators who are available 24/7 to provide pastoral care and assistance.

Our staff are carefully selected, vetted and trained to create a safe, supportive environment where every student feels valued. A Matron is on hand at each campus for medical needs, emergencies or general wellbeing.

Students are housed in secure buildings, with rooms allocated by age and sex.

Where You’ll Stay

You’ll live in a typical Oxford University bedroom (occupied by university undergraduates in term time). You’ll be assigned a room in one of the following campuses.

St Peter's College
St George's Gate
St George’s Gate, owned by Oxford University’s St Peter’s College, sits beside Quaking Bridge and overlooks the remains of Oxford’s original medieval wall.

Adjacent to the historic Oxford Castle, it features an entrance courtyard and a picturesque view of the Castle Mill Stream, a branch of the River Thames.

Along with our accommodation at St Thomas’ and Paradise Street, St George’s Gate is one of St Peter’s College’s annexe accommodations, home to second- and third-year undergraduates during term time.

St Peter's College
Paradise Street
Our Paradise Street building is also owned by Oxford University’s St Peter’s College and is situated on a historic street in central Oxford, next to the listed Swan Bridge over the Castle Mill Stream.

Positioned right next door to the famous Oxford Castle, and within a few minutes’ walk of the city centre, the building offers single bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a study area for students to complete work set by their tutors.

St Peter's College
St Thomas'
St Thomas’ is part of St Peter’s College, the youngest Oxford College within the old city boundaries.

Students at St Peter’s, known as ‘Peterites’, include notable alumni such as Mark Carney, former Governor of the Bank of England; Edward Akufo-Addo, former President of Ghana; and Reverend Wilbert Vere Awdry, creator of Thomas the Tank Engine.

St Anne's
College Campus
St Anne’s College, University of Oxford, sits opposite the Radcliffe Observatory, the university’s iconic observatory from the 18th century.

St Anne’s is one of the largest University of Oxford colleges and has a fascinating history. Founded in 1879 as an affordable way for women to obtain a degree during the Victorian era, it has always been a home for innovation.

The college blends historic charm with modern amenities, offering comfortable rooms and common room space for you to socialise with fellow students.

Corpus Christi College
Lampl Building
The Lampl Building is an annexe of Corpus Christi College, one of Oxford’s oldest colleges, founded in 1517. One of its earliest members contributed to the translation of the King James Bible in 1611.

During term time, Lampl houses second- and third-year Oxford undergraduates. It is located near the historic Oxford Castle, which played a role in the English Civil War and later served as the city’s prison until its closure in 1996. Today, the castle has been transformed into a stylish hotel.

Please note, the Oxford Scholastica Academy contracts with St Peter’s, Corpus Christi and St Anne’s Colleges for the use of their facilities but we have no formal connection with the University of Oxford. You can read more about our relationship with Oxford here.

Experience Psychology & Neuroscience Academy

“Studying with Oxford Scholastica has allowed me to build a network of open-minded people, all from different countries and cultures, who are interested in psychology and neuroscience. I left the course with new friends, new perspectives and a new appreciation for my subject.”

Room Types

When you register, you’ll choose either a standard or en-suite room and we’ll allocate your accommodation accordingly. If you’re attending with a friend or family member and wish to stay in the same building, we’re happy to arrange this.

En-Suite Bedroom
En-suite rooms include a standard single bed, desk, wardrobe and a private bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet.

By default, these rooms are single occupancy, but we also offer a limited number of twin en-suite rooms for students who prefer to share. You can indicate interest in a twin en-suite when submitting your Student Information Form after booking.

Standard Bedroom
Standard rooms are equipped with a washbasin, wardrobe and desk. Bathrooms are shared, typically between two to three students on the same corridor.

If you’ve booked a standard room, you may be allocated either a standard single (private room with shared bathroom) or a standard twin (shared room for two students with a shared bathroom).
